CWShredder

Overview

CWShredder was a specialized malware removal tool designed to detect and remove CoolWebSearch (CWS), a notorious browser hijacker that modified system settings, changed homepage settings, and injected unwanted advertisements into web browsers. It was originally developed by InterMute, later acquired by Trend Micro, which eventually discontinued the tool as modern security solutions replaced it.
