Authorized Editor Guide
Welcome to the Authorized Editor Guide! This guide clearly shows you how to create, edit, and publish articles on our Wiki.
Creating an Article
Creating an article is easy! Just follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Choose a Name
Pick a clear name for your article that shows exactly what it’s about. Avoid complicated or unclear titles.
Example: If you're writing about bananas, your article name could be Banana. This is just an example.
Step 2: Create the Article
After choosing your article name, go to:
Replace YourArticleName with your article's name.
Example:
Step 3: Starting the Article
When you visit this new page, you'll see this message:
Step 4: Request Approval
After writing your article, message an MRT Member or Administrator to review and approve your page. Include the URL and briefly explain what your article is about.
Step 5: Edit and Preview
You can still edit your article while waiting for approval. Click Edit and use Preview to see how your page looks.
Editing an Existing Article
To edit existing articles, follow these easy steps:
Step 1: Find the Article
Go to All Pages and choose the article you want to edit.
Step 2: Make Your Edits
- Click Edit at the top.
- Make your changes clearly.
Step 3: Submit for Review
After editing, your changes won't appear right away. You must ask an MRT Member or Administrator to review and approve your edits.
Include in your request:
- Article URL
- A quick explanation of your edits
Step 4: Approval
Your edits will be checked for quality. If everything is good, your edits will be published. If changes are needed, you'll get feedback.
